Sweet Potato Casserole

A delicious twist on traditional sweet potato casserole with turkey bacon and chicken ham topping.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups mashed sweet potatoes
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the mashed sweet potatoes, brown sugar, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly in a greased baking dish.
  4. Top with crumbled turkey bacon and diced chicken ham.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until heated through.
  6. Remove from oven and sprinkle mini marshmallows on top.
  7. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the marshmallows are golden brown.
  8. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For added flavor, you can use maple syrup instead of brown sugar.
  • This dish can be prepared in advance and reheated before serving.
