  • 12 large jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 6 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, cook ground turkey over medium heat until browned. Add crumbled turkey bacon, mixing well.
  4. In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, egg, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  5. Stuff each shell with the ricotta mixture, then place in a baking dish.
  6. Spread marinara sauce over stuffed shells and sprinkle remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
  7. Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
