A delicious and easy recipe for stuffed bell peppers using turkey bacon and beef.

  • 4 bell peppers
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 ounces turkey bacon, diced
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the tops off bell peppers and remove seeds.
  3. In a skillet, cook turkey bacon until crispy, then add ground beef and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in rice, tomatoes, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Stuff the mixture into each bell pepper and place in a baking dish.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Remove foil, sprinkle cheese on top, and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  8. Serve hot.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian option, substitute beef with lentils.
  • You can use any types of cheese for topping.
