  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

  • 1/2 cup chopped apples
  • 1/4 cup cinnamon sugar (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together apple cider, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vegetable oil, and eggs until well combined.
  4. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped apples gently.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  9. Before serving, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
