Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon; set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and 1 1/2 cups sugar until smooth.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla.
  5. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients.
  6. Roll the dough into balls and then roll in the mixture of 3 tablespoons sugar and 1 tablespoon cinnamon.
  7. Place onto ungreased baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until set and lightly golden.
  9. Cool on wire racks.
