Salmon and spinach filo cottage cheese quiche

A creamy and flavorful quiche featuring salmon, spinach, and cottage cheese wrapped in flaky filo pastry.

Ingredients

  • 1 package filo pastry
  • 200 grams smoked salmon
  • 200 grams spinach, fresh
  • 300 grams cottage cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon dill, dried
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Grease a quiche dish with butter.
  3. Lay the filo pastry sheets in the dish, brushing each layer with melted butter.
  4. In a bowl, mix together the smoked salmon, spinach, cottage cheese, eggs, and milk. Add dill, salt, and pepper.
  5. Pour the mixture into the filo pastry-lined dish.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden and set in the center.
  7. Let it cool slightly before slicing.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add some grated cheese on top before baking.
  • Serve with a fresh salad for a complete meal.
