  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt for the glaze

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat until it turns brown and nutty.
  3. In a bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, sugars, eggs, and vanilla, then mix in the brown butter.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, spices, and salt.
  5. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 60-70 minutes.
  7. To make the glaze, whisk together the maple syrup and sea salt until smooth and drizzle over the cooled bread.
