  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 pound chicken ham, diced
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crisp, then add the chicken ham and sauté until heated through.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until combined.
  4. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  5. Layer 4 lasagna noodles over the sauce, then spread half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles.
  6. Add half of the turkey bacon and chicken ham mixture, followed by a layer of mozzarella cheese.
  7. Repeat the layering process, finishing with noodles, marinara sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese on top.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes until bubbling and golden.
  9. Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, consider adding vegetables like spinach or mushrooms.
  • Leftover lasagna can be reheated and enjoyed the next day.
