  • 9 sheets lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until it’s browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in the marinara sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  6. In a baking dish, spread a layer of meat sauce. Place three noodles over the sauce.
  7. Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles, then sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Repeat the layers, finishing with mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
  9. Bake for 45 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  10. Let it cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
