  • 1 tablespoon instant yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 jalapenos, diced

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, sugar, and instant yeast.
  2. Add warm water gradually, mixing until a dough forms.
  3. Mix in the cheddar cheese and diced jalapenos.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover it with a cloth. Let it rise until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  6. Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C) and place a Dutch oven inside to heat.
  7. Shape the risen dough into a ball and carefully transfer it to the hot Dutch oven.
  8. Cover and bake for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
