  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt together.
  2. Add warm milk, melted butter, and eggs. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  4. Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour until doubled in size.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread softened butter, and sprinkle the cinnamon and brown sugar mixture on top.
  6. Roll up the dough tightly and cut into slices.
  7. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla in a bowl for icing, and drizzle over the warm rolls before serving.
