Instructions

  3. In another bowl, mix the brown sugar, molasses, oil, and eggs until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with hot water, until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
