- 1 1/2 cups gingerbread cookie crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 cup whipped cream for topping
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine gingerbread cookie crumbs and melted butter, then press into the bottom of a pie dish.
- Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then let it cool.
- In another bowl, whip heavy cream until peaks form. Set aside.
