  • 1 1/2 cups warm water
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, salt, and sugar.
  2. In another bowl, mix warm water and olive oil, then add to the dry ingredients.
  3. Knead the dough until smooth and elastic, about 10 minutes.
  4. Let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  5. Punch down the dough and incorporate minced garlic and herbs.
  6. Divide the dough into three equal sections and braid them together.
  7. Place the braided loaf on a baking sheet and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
