  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 4 sub rolls
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Cook the turkey bacon in a skillet until crispy. Crumble and set aside.
  5. Bake the meatballs for 20 minutes or until cooked through.
  6. Assemble the sub rolls by placing meatballs inside, topping with marinara sauce, crumbled turkey bacon, and mozzarella cheese.
  7. Place the assembled subs back in the oven until the cheese is melted.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
