  • 24 ladyfingers
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk the egg yolks and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  2. Gently fold in the mascarpone until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  4. Fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
  5. Combine the espresso and coffee liqueur in a shallow dish.
  6. Dip each ladyfinger into the espresso mixture briefly and layer them in a dish.
  7. Spoon half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  8. Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone mixture.
  9. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  10. Before serving, dust with cocoa powder.
