  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro

Instructions

  1. In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the chicken to the pan and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked.
  4. Remove chicken from the pan and let it rest before slicing it into thin strips.
  5. Warm the corn tortillas in a separate pan.
  6. Assemble the tacos by adding chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, sour cream, and cilantro to each tortilla.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • Feel free to add avocado or any other toppings of your choice.
  • These tacos can be made with leftover chicken as well.
