Baked Ham and Cheese Croissants

Delicious and easy-to-make baked ham and cheese croissants with a twist of turkey bacon.

  • 4 croissants
  • 6 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced ham
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a pan, cook the turkey bacon until crispy and set aside.
  3. Slice the croissants in half and spread Dijon mustard on the insides.
  4. Layer slices of ham and crumbled turkey bacon on the croissant halves.
  5. Top with shredded cheese.
  6. In a bowl, beat the egg with milk and brush it on the tops of the croissants.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add some herbs or spices to the cheese.
  • Ensure the croissants are fresh for the best texture.
