  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup melted butter
  • 4 packages (8 oz) cream cheese
  • 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups sliced apples
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter, then press into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. In another bowl, beat cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth, then add eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla.
  4. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust and bake for 50 minutes.
  5. While baking, mix sliced apples with cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar.
  6. In a separate bowl, combine oats and flour for the topping.
  7. After the cheesecake has baked for 50 minutes, add the apple mixture on top, followed by the oat topping.
  8. Bake for an additional 20 minutes.
  9. Let cool before serving.

  • This cheesecake can be served warm or chilled.
  • For a richer flavor, use a mixture of tart and sweet apples.
